Guide to Hudson, NY!
While there are many guides to exploring the Hudson Valley from The Infatuation, Forbes, Eater, and Vogue, we also wanted to share some of our favorite things to do in and around Hudson!
You can also view our recommendations on Google Maps by clicking here.
On your way up:
If you are coming from NY or Philly, we love stopping at Storm King or Dia Beacon. Grab lunch at Homespun Foods.
For the history buffs, we’d recommend going to Hyde Park and touring Franklin D. Roosevelt’s home.
What to do in and around Hudson:
For the Hudson ‘first timers,’ before heading out for a walk along Warren Street, grab a coffee and light bite at Mel’s (make sure to grab a pastry, we love the cinnamon bun!) or Kitty’s (you can’t go wrong with the breakfast sandwich). Some of our favorite stores to pop into along Warren Street are: Minna, Finch, and Flowerkraut…and don’t miss the Farmer’s Market on Saturday morning!
For the art lovers, check out Art Omi. It’s a 120-acre Sculptures & Architecture Park. It’s one of our favorite ways to spend a day here.
For the golfers, there are a few course that are close by. We’d recommend Red Hook Golf Club or Copake Country Club.
For the adventure seekers, check out a few hike options here.
Stop by Pour Candle Bar if you want to make a candle, perfume, or diffuser!
